I have updated all of my firmware that I am aware of but I was curious as to how often one needs to check for updates.  Or is this a situation where, unless you are having an issue, once its working, you should leave well enough alone.

If you regularly read Phantom forums (like this one), people will no doubt start talking about new firmware updates when they are released. If you're not too adventurous, then it would be a good idea to wait a few days so you can see how everything works out for those people who install the updates right away. Sometimes there are issues -- issues that might break features you need.

This man is the Guru of phantoms imho.  If he said I needed to sacrifice goats before each flight... I'd do it... well, maybe not goats, but ants or something equally  easy to sacrifice with a magnifying glass.
