If the drone responds to quickly what should you adjust on
a3 attitude gain is different with respect to a2
one must adjust sensitivity gain yaw brake attitude
or advanced gain
have difficulty and understand what should one adjust on
it reacts to sharply  on pitch and roll

Hello keller,
Similar to my case. Our copter installs A3. We test it these days. It reacts very very fast. Seems adjusting "control exp" works.

However in my case, the copter is difficult to reach stable hover.....

What are you running the A3 on? Is the drone drifting randomly or is it more of a toilet bowl effect?

I had this problem on my S1000+.

The actual CG on the craft for IMU mounting was -100mm (landing gear up) with GH4 attached. I found that reducing this to -50mm seemed to improve it.

I think the unit may be over compensating for the weight it is carrying in GPS.

I think I've cracked this issue on S1000+, A3, GH4, LB2

IMU vertical -80mm (use your own horizontal measurements)
Compass vertical -250mm  (use your own horizontal measurements)

Basic Gains, increase to 100.
Braking, reduce to 20.
Attitude increase to 50.
Advanced 100 (default)
Expo set at default.

These settings give me smooth response, stable hover (no toilet bowl) and the frantic braking is far better.

Try it and let be know what you think.

Thanks

IMU vertical -80mm

it means you have modified it to -80 and not -50
as you started with and write ?

I am still struggling with gains for S900 / A3 / LB2 / X5
Everything at default. the 900 is sluggish at everything but it also drifts randomly / toilet bowl when hovering (Not every minute but too much to not being annoying! ) I placed everything correctly on board, now  is it the CG? How do I find it? It is by default at -150. Please help, too many questions at the same time. thanks.
