Hi Guys
I recently upgraded from a Phantom 3 pro to a Phantom 4 and found a very cheap battery localy here in Sydney , retail price is $289 AUD and this one was $100 AUD.
I'm now thinking this may be a fake as the plastic on the rear cover seems to be different to the 2 original batteries I have, the plastic on the suspect battery is more translucent than the originals.
Is it possible for someone to check my serial number ?

Suspect battery is the one on the left.

Does it work fine? Because according to DJI, parts that are not original, wont work  

Hello adam1978, I have checked the serial Number 082AD5403102E0, and it is the authentic battery. Please do not worry about it.
BTW, it's recommended to buy the products in our official store.

unfortunately, due to various reasons, the DJI Official store charge Australian purchasers a substantial premium of what the US market is charged and claim it is difference in VAT. I would much prefer to buy direct from DJI but simply cannot afford the premium which is as much as 40% over the US with substantially higher postage costs as well so am forced to buy elsewhere and take the risk. (And yes, I have made a reasonably substantial purchase from your online store)

It's recommended to buy the products from the authorized agent and official online stores. Please check the warranty policy for details "Customers can obtain warranty service only at a designated DJI repair center in the region where he/she purchased the product. However, depending on part availability, customers can obtain cross-regional repair service at an additional charge. "

Rather than start a new thread I will ask here as it's on the same topic.

My system came with two batteries but they look slightly different. One looks like all the others I have seen but  one has different shaped lights.

That one is an aftermarket battery, definitely not DJI.
But for the other folks above
There are no fake P4 batteries.

I have recently bought 2 batteries from a local and have questions to the authenticity the one on the right I am pretty sure id authentic as it works and interfaces properly.  The one on the left when inserted into the aircraft automatically turns the aircraft on without turn on the battery.  I have also noticed the suspect battery on the left has 5degc to 40degc and I've never seen this on any other batteries I own.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  [/img]

If it works it's probably genuine but no-one is going to be able to say anything without any evidence to see.

Did the pictures not attach>?   Evidence ?
