Still might be some issues, per the guy that posted the video

The first clip was done in the DJI app which automatically has the IS enabled. The raw footage had a little bit of warping around it as the stabilizer tried to work it's Magic. This was fixed in premiere. The 4k was shot without the built in camera IS and was only warped due to the fact that I screwed up at the end with the panning.

its most likely user error.  

check this video for tips on getting the smoothest footage.  full disclosure, i havent tried this, but ive been watching tip videos since i ordered the osmo mobile

Got my email with a tracking number early this morning. Ordered on 9/1, s hould arrive in Georgia by 9/12 - which puts it in my hands just before I leave for my Colorado trip. awesome!

Very nice, also the above video is good.
There is a learning curve and most users are going to get a little bit of bounce in the video.
After spending some time with it practicing, your videos will get smooth.

Ken, thanks for all of the great feedback and information. One question I was curious about - will the Osmo foam backed case you sell work with the osmo mobile? Looking for something along those lines and that case fits he bill. Any info? Thanks!

The Osmo Mobile comes with a soft case.
It will NOT fit in the regular Osmo hard case.

That's awesome, you'll love it.
Make sure to fully charge the battery first as it needs to be activated for the unit to work.
Also, complete the activation too.

So in an unexpected twist, i got an email from fedex this morning that my shipment date was changing from tomorrow to today!

I didnt believe the change in date until fedex arrived a few minutes ago... my new osmo mobile is currently charging!

DJI is driving me NUTS!

I ordered my Osmo mobile a few days ago for my honeymoon in Europe on the 15th. Every website says it was available to ship on the 1st but now I'm getting all sort of mixed information that it ships on the 15th. Talked to DJI customer service and after deciphiring their broken english it seems that they don't even know when it will ship. They literally keep giving me different information. I have an order in with DJI & an order in with an Amazon retailer (who said he would overnight it) but it's not looking good at this point. I feel like I should probably just have it shipped to my hotel in Spain but I'm nervous it won't make it before I leave for the next country.

Another absolutely frustrating experience with DJI. My Ronin still sits dead in a closet after the last firmware update. I bought the Osmo to use for a YouTube series on a cross country road trip and the audio made it completely unusable. Not to mention it can't keep a consistent exposure unless you're under exact lighting conditions. My iPhone shoots better video than the Osmo!!! Looking at the above video now I'm worried that IF I get it in time it won't even work correctly with my iPhone 6+.

I'm totally in an abusive relationship with DJI. Why can't I quit you???

I'm sorry for your frustrations, I can tell you that they were not available from other websites on the 1st.
What is your order# and I will look into it.

I plan on sending the Ronin in for repair when I return home to Los Angeles.

Your order will be shipping from China on the 13th and will take 3-5 business days until delivered to you.
You cannot change the order and have it shipped to Europe.
You may be able to contact online sales and cancel the order and start over and have it shipped to Europe.

That won't work, without any sort of guarantee I could end up shipping it to a country that I've already left. Do you know when your orders will being going out to BH, Adorama etc? At least they can guarantee overnight shipping.

You would have to contact them, usually the people who order online from DJI will get their products before any of the dealers.

Very nice, you'll love it. Just make sure to remove your phone case unless it's one of those super thin one and fits fine in the cradle. Also, if you do use a case and the Osmo will not stabilize, remove the case and it will work.

I do not have access to the sales system, when I checked the last persons order, I have to email another department and they have to look it up.

I ordered mine on 9/6. I leave for Europe on 9/15. Customer service told me that they would put a priority on it to try to get it to me on time but then keeps emailing me telling me that they will ship it on 9/15. HELPFUL.
