I'm planning a travel in Japan and looking at the map on DJI site, I see no geolock (even near airport !)

I've read that legislation get stricter lately as one persosn flew some nuclear pieces with a phantom over price minister buidling.
I would not have flown of course the drone in the city anyway but planned to use it near in the wild parts near mount fuji.

Is there no geofence around ? does anyone knows if there is more limitations than most usual country (keep in sight, not more than 150m height and farther than 30m from people, building, animals ?

According to the GEO map you are correct.
BUT, I would contact authorities there to see what the rules are.http://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-system/unlock

Ok thanks. Indeed I checked the latest rules and again will use it only out of city.

I am also planning on traveling to Japan.  Did you run into any problems while you were there?
