Hello fellow pilots,

I was trying to perform a VPS Calibration of my P4 using and iMac (2013) OS X El Capitan with 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GT Force 750 Graphics card. When I get to the calibration screen using the Assistant 2 I can't see the black dots and squares that is suppose to appear on screen. The only thing I get is the big square with nothing in the center. If there any settings that I need to do so I can perform the VPS Calibration? Thanks for your help.

Very interested to know about this as I use an Imac but have yet to do the VPS calibration..

Because sometimes the descend are very slow. I saw a thread that the OP had the same problem and fix it with a VPS Calibration.

Could you please try with a windows PC?

I have the same problem. Also, when checking the firmware version sometimes it says "Upgrade" (showing the same version available and installed) and if I click it again shows that the latest is installed.
I cannot access flight data mode as well: spinning progress wheel for very long times, as reported by others.

It would seem that the Mac version of the Assistant needs an overhaul.

doesnt that seen weird tho, as I mentioned several times before, they side of my P4 box said made for ipad, iphone, lol...

that was just marketing so they could sell in apple stores.
Don't think its made "for " apple stuff, just compatable.

and FWIW it seems more issues with IOS stuff than android(except Samsung)

I would like to know as well. I have an iMac 27" late 15. Never tried the VPS Cal.

I just looked @ my box again, sitting here on my pc desk and I'll take a pic to prove it, it says "made for" and list only apple products below it...

Actually the same problem you have with the flight recorder date  I was able to fix. Simply You need to install the driver that come with the assistant 2 software. Once you installed it, you will get the flight recorder files.

Actually  Apple stuff like iPhone and Ipads work flawlessly. My problem is with the Assistant 2 and ONLY with the VPS Calibration.

I get it!

it is stillMarketing, so it could sell in the apple store---
and not sure what the big point is.

at any given moment  IOS is the go app is ahead or behind android in features or problems.
the next week it changes ... been that way for years now.

and DONT forget the DJI GO is used FOR:
P3  standard
P3 adv and Pro
Inspire 1 an 2
Matrice 600
Osmo

Not just P4.

Hmm. Tried VPS calibration on my 2013 iMac.. I get some kind of chinese error as sone as i hit the " calibrate now" button.. OS X 10.11.16.

The error message I get is "Camera connection error".

I had use the three options of resolution available and still get the same message.

Hi,If you use the Double-Screen,you need to do the calibration on the main screen.And do not use the patch cord.
If the error persists,please provide these file and the model of your computer:
Assistant/calibration_signal_log.txt
Assistant/ vision/cali_conf.txt

Lowering screen's resolution solved the problem for me (iMac 27" late 2009). I was stalled by "you need to recalibrate VPS with Assistant 2" and it didn't worked on both OSX and Win10. Now I've just finished calibration and I'm gonna fly my Mavic.
