Hey all, I have had this problem with my P2V+.  About 50% of the time I start recording to the card at the beginning of the flight, then once I get back to look at it I find that it's corrupted or won't play.  

I have formatted the card Fat32 it's a 32 Gig card.  I have not tried another card, but I can't see how that would help as it records sometimes.

I have had to make sure it's working by doing a quick video then synching it to my phone to ensure it's recording correctly, then starting the flight.

I don't like to have to do this, is there a way to make the system bullet proof in this respect?  I am loosing a TON of CRAPPY footage of my house and lake!

Are you turning off the Phantom battery before you turn off the video in your DJI APP on your phone?

Hi, you must stop your recording a few seconds before shutting the Phantom power down.  This allows the buffer to load the video data to the card.

In addition to turning off the record before the Phantom, you should be formatting the card using the format command built into the app (in the camera menu).  It sounds like you are formatting on the PC and I'm not sure if that works or not, never tried it.

Did you use the DJI APP to format the sd card or did you format it on the computer?  Most of us here would not belittle anyone, we are here to help.

Hey Gents,

      Just got back yesterday afternoon from a business trip and was finally able to get in the air for a few minutes.   I didn't use the app to format (wanted to see if the problem was the format or me turning the phantom off before stopping the recording).  I took a flight's worth of video and sure enough when I turned off the video recording before shutting off the phantom it worked like a charm!  Thanks again to you guys for your help.  

It's nothing special, just playin' around.  I'm still adjusting tothe sensitivity of this machine so I'm still really rough.  Was justmessing with panning then took a flight around the lake.

Good video but 1 suggestion.  Get rid of the FJI supplied sd class 4 card and get a good class 10 card.  The class 10 card reads/writes faster and you would be rid of the pixilation on the water.

For bad video files, this WORKS!!!!

Oh, I know what it was I think.  I saved it for "computer" viewing I think.  So that is probably not full HD quality?

I'll try that in the future.  I think I deleted the files, I'll see what I can recover!

I wonder why they didn't make a simple UI for that program, probably would have taken about 30 minutes.
