The idea behind this project was to demonstrate the performance of Zenmuse X5 camera during flight in an average windy summer day. To achieve this the GoPro 4 Session cube was mounted just behind the battery compartment to provide real-life SPV (Second Person View), and both cameras were rolling simultaneously. The experiment exposed surprisingly turbulent, bumpy and shaky flight in 10-12 km/h wind. Yet the Zenmuse X5 delivered silky smooth footage ...

Beautiful- scenery as well.  I just received my X5 and going through the learning curve ,but love it so far.

Thank you, Brother Donnie. So, you know how the GoPro 4 Session is mounted on my bird, don't you? The snap-on plate (normally attached with double sticky foam provided) is adhered to aluminum tag plate with 3M 2216 epoxy...

Since you're on X5 page for the beginners ... Take my advice, sell the DJI 15mm lens on eBay ASAP and invest in Olympus 12mm lens ... Trust me, Brother ...

Do you have a model # ( for the 12 mm olympus , not very good at this and dont want to get wrong one )  that you have for yors, just want to make sure I get the one that you have .

Yes, it is a nice place, indeed ... I tow my houseboat 800 km to get there every summer.
As for my solar system ... The expansion I build on arched roof this year contains Chinese panels which - unfortunately - went dead after a mere week of sun exposure ... Yet another and final lesson for me: don't buy cheap things! Luckily the cooperating weather and older SHARP panels provided more than enough energy for everything, including intense battery charging.

Well, the Oly 12mm is definitely wider, sharper and colors rendering is somehow better articulated. It was absolutely worth replacing DJI lens (Panasonic) when Oly carried 599 USD price tag ... Now (with 799 USD at H&B store) ... hmm ... I don't know ... Find out what's going on with this sharp price increase ...

No I did not get it yet, I get prize points ( from work )  that I can use at Best Buy and I am waiting to get enough points to get it .  When I do I will be sure to let ya'll know .
Best Buy has been very good to me as well with Returns and Purchases and will Price Match most of the time.  So I want to get it there .
