I bought the phantom 3 adv a month ago.
In mid air (not every flight) i get this error: Warning:Compass Error. Exit P-GPS Mode

The phantom is updated at the last firmware version (1.9.6) and the compass is calibrate away from any source of interference.

Is this a firmware bug, so i have just to downgrade? or it's hardware issue?

Hello frank,did you try to do the compass calibration again in an open area free of interference?Could you please sync your flight records and provide me with the APP email account ? I'll help to look into it.

yes i have tried but unsuccessfully.

I got this yesterday ffrank92 up at glencoe
I calibrated next to the carpark everything was fine until I was
at 100m the the warning message so I flipped into atti &
kept flying then I put it back into p-mode & no problems
I did another flight 20 minutes later no problems could be just a glitch

I had this issue several times, at difference altitude and for a different duration. I don't thinks this is just a glitch

I have checked your flight records.The compass error almost happened in the same area.It's probably the environment has negative effect on compass.

I don't thinks because i have another quadcopter, it's a DJI naza V2+gps and in the same place I'don't have this error. Now i moved away for business and i will try here to see if the error persists
