In my previous video I failed to travel 8 kms with the Phantom 4 to my holiday home, because at 1,5 kms it lost signal.
I want to try it again, but I want to make sure what the Phantom will do if it loses signal, but does not have enough battery to return to home. So I set up a test for this, but it turned out to be more difficult to retrieve my Phantom than expected...

Surely the outcome wasn't something you needed to test.
It's no mystery what happens to a Phantom when the battery gets to critical low level.
It's not like the Phantom has a lot of options available.
Well, it turns out it has THREE options available and you can even choose out of them. For me it was important to test and be absolutely sure about what it would do, before I would travel 8 kms over rough terrain (my grand plan) and get a big surprise half way down the road. I wanted to be prepared.
