'DJI Go' should tell you if there is a newer update available. These updates are not mandatory, but usually advisable as they often contain fixes for problems.
You can also run DJI Assistant 2 (Running on a PC with good internet connection and USB connected to aircraft works well) which can be downloaded from the P4 Downloads Web Page If you run DJI Assistant 2 it will show your current build and also the previous and any newer builds available. You can then choose to revert to previous, stay where you are, or upgrade if any available.
