I have the P3P and it won't connect to my device I've tried everything even wiped iPad and restored to factory settings. I'm being told it must be USB port on remote.
My remote is the GL300B I can get a great deal on a GL300A just want to make sure it will work with my drone. It would be cheaper than shipping charges for a warranty claim and I'm guessing faster.

Hello Bloomingtonmain, if you have Phantom 3 Professional aircraft, it's recommended to use the accordant remote controller. GL300A and GL300B are two different versions, if you upgrade your aircraft to the latest firmware, then you need upgrade remote controller as well. After you tried all methods, and make sure the USB port is not working fine, you could get in touch with our tech support at support.us@dji.com, and get it repaired.
