I have an Inspire 1 D series everything is updated current app and machine firmware and since about 2 updates ago I get disconnected for the machine after 10-11 minutes of flight time. It will reconnect but not sure why the dropout after the 10-11 minutes. Change batteries and it will do it again after about 10-11 minutes give or take a little. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

over heat, try to use some other devices , i.e Ipad mini 2 or above

What model Android device are you using?

Its the Samsung Tab 8 S2. Didnt think about overheating but it could be Iam in Texas and its been hot, but did not think it should overheat in that short time maybe Iam wrong. Any other having this issue with the Tab 8 S2.

I live in Florida and have not had a problem with my S2.

Do you have any programs running in the background? How much memory do you have free on the device? Do you have the latest OS version on it?

The tablet work great and fast and yes had the latest OS in it as well.
