Searching apps on Iphone I came across this FPVbooster.

Anyone used it, seen it, tried it, binned it etc, just curious because Id have thought if it was any good DJI would include it as standard in their package.

Comments please..

I have heard from some pilots that it does work, but since I have gone more than 2400 feet out with stock equipment, I don't need it.  I cannot see that far anyway.

buzzcbr, the booster part of the app definitely works. But, some see better results than others.

The most impressive part of the new v3 is that it contains the "FPV Camera" feature. See their Facebook page for some videos of it in action:

Okay, many thanks. Not too sure that I need it as I cant see any benefit from what I have now with the DJI app via my iphone.

Here are some things I like about it:

- There is a Google map that shows a bird's eye view of your Phantom's location on a Google map beside the FPV view
- You can see where your home point was marked on the Google map
- It's a good alternative when the DJI Vision app is misbehaving
