Has anyone tried iOS10 and DJI GO? Everything alright?

Not yet installing now on my iPad.

Installing it right now.

Works well in mini 2.

I just updated my iPad Air 2 Over the air and it took about 45 minutes to install. I did see on Macrumors.com that some people are having issues doing the update. I am now going to go test this with the DJI go App.

I did a 12 minute test flight with my P3A and all appears to be working just fine. I took video, pictures, synced flight log, adjusted shutter speed, watched video and viewed pictures from SD, watched live feed screen and map screen.  

This is one of those times where DJI has hopefully begun testing iOS 10 and will make an official comment as to whether they believe we are safe to use this.  We should not be beta testing a major Os update with something that has potential to seriously injure people or damage property.

SERIOUSLY, we should not be beta testers for this, we need DJI to either approve the software or give us comments for a pending update.

You are free to choose to update or not. If you have concerns then don't update until you feel comfortable.

Updated haven't tried it yet , but have never had a problem after downloading iOS

Normally things are reported by exception, i.e. if there is no change then there is nothing to report. It is probable that the people at DJI have been testing IOS 10 with Apple since the first Alpha release.

Works well from Beta 6 when i installed first time until now no issues

I just installed ios10 on my ipad 4 mini.  I also installed the latest DJI GO app.  Everything seems to work great!

This afternoon I made a ONE Batteryflight... 19 minutes... about 1000meter.... max height 20... max distance 130 Apple iPad Pro 9.7, iOS 10.0.1... Latest firmware on both drone and RC...
Landed safely...had a constant video-feed... was LIVE on FB for 2 minutes... did 4 video recordings...
All went well... no drops... flew until 22% battery

Used my iPhone 6s as Personal Hotspot...

Its 10.0.1 now...

DJI recommends being on the latest GO app. As far as IOS, it's totally up to you. There have been times when an IOS update has had a conflict with the GO app and workarounds had to be implemented.

I have made two 20 minutes flights with no issues on an iPad Air with iOS 10.

I did not use any of the intelligent features (waypoints, tapfly). Photos, videos, range, controls, all seem unchanged from previous flights with iOS 9.

I am also at the latest (2.9.2) Go App.

Just tried iOS 10.0.1 and DJI Go 2.9.2 on an iPhone 6s and iPad Pro 9.7. Worked first time on the iPhone, failed to connect on iPad Pro 9.7, but a restart of the latter cured it.

All with latest firmware.

Yep, no problems at all.

Yes, I just updated my iPad to iOS10 and tried to update the firmware several times, all attempts failing. DJI, are you all on top of this? Thanks!

It's working just fine for all my IOS and Android devices.

It is working but only Mission Hub can't sent files to iphone 6 with iOS10.
I work a lot with litchi but now I can not transfer files from the Mission Hub (routes) from my PC to send the iPhone after I installed iOS10. Is quite an issue for me.

They are already up to iOS 10.0.2 and climbing... Haha

After few times flying with ipad mini 2 ios 10. I think my ipad get hot faster compared to ios 9. In sunny day not really hot whether my ipad overheat, display become all grean.
Very useless when i need nonstop flying with 3 battery i have. But flying with first battery after 10-15 minute ipad got overheat..

Turn on or off Enable Hardware Decode in the power hungry Go app.

I have Ipad mini 4 with latest 10.0 and the latest Go app. Had trouble with the app not allowing me to change camera settings and manual takeoff wouldn't work. Refreshed the aircraft using Assistant 2 and all works fine.
