Generally, for the most part it depends and it's been covered here in several threads. The gist of the responses was that IF you recover the bird and it can be ascertained from the logs on the bird that it was a mechanical issue then it's warranty. If the bird is lost as a result probably not, or if the info on the birds logs is incomplete also probably not. They won't accept Litchi logs in lieu of DJIGo logs.
I view it as a "Do you feel lucky" situation. The reality is that there are a huge number of operator assisted crashes that are the operators fault, and DJI seems to err on the side of if there's not solid proof either way then it defaults to not warranty. |
