And it crossed my mind the other day too. I bet money that someone working in intelligence is dumb enough to crash a drone at 3am at the White House out of stupidity. It would not surprise me if this was done on purpose to promote bad press and help sway public opinion in the FAA and the govts favor .

I'd say it was done intentionally.

ehhhh.  I'm not much of one for all these conspiracy theories.  I really think our government has bigger problems than stirring this pot,.  If this was the case, he would not have had the balls to step forward and taken his lumps.
