Just wanted to start a dedicated thread on this issue since I think my statements get buried in other threads. Shooting 4K in the DJI GO app there is significant stutter. In the core Apple camera app this does not happen. See the video below....



Shooting 1080p the video is perfect in this pan using the GO app. See the video below...



Using the core camera app everything works perfect however you cant use handle controls. The app released today with pano mode works great. Now if DJI can fix the 4K video issue and also fix other bugs and motor adjustments we would have a start on a solid product.

I've been shooting video for years so I already know this. This is not the issue with the OSMO Mobile.

Hi, thank for your the feedback, we're aware of the situation and is working to solve it. For now you can use the stock iOS app for 4K.

I've the same problem with a iPhone SE, but here is the interesting thing the file size for the 4K is only 50 MB different than the 1080p, yes it is 10sec different in length but the file size for the 4K should be much larger.
4K is :
Format: H264, 3840 x 2160
Data Size: 619.2 MB
FPS: 28.8
Data Rate: 54.41 Mbit/s
Shot Duration 1min 31 sec

This was a same walk through in my house for both shots: I did the walk 10 sec slower for the 1080 comparison.

1080p is :
Format: H264, 1920 x 1080
Data Size: 674.6
FPS: 29.98
Data Rate: 53.68 Mbit/s
Shot Duration 1min 41 sec

Perhaps someone else could run the same comparison and check the results.

i have the same problem with my 6s plus...and if you try the dji app without gimbal...in 4k has the same problem...but with filmic or native app doesn't appear...but we lost many things like track motion...

DJI may have to update the app i think the communication between mobile phone cam and app have some gaps...and this ones result in this "drop frames"....

May I know what is your APP version and the Osmo Mobile 2 firmware version?
