Had an issue with a M100 attempting to RTH just after the 30% battery warning. Any thoughts or ideas on why it would want to do that? The critical warning is at 10%

With the smart RTH function, the 1st level warning gives you the option to return to home depending on how for off you are from the home point. At 10%, RTH would be prioritized.

Hmm, yes that option was turned on. However it was about 15 ft away when it asked me if it wanted to return to home. Is that normal?

Based on your description, it is normal.
