Hi all! Just picked up shield and added a 128gb sd card. Not sure how to auto save pics and video direct to sd card. Could someone who's done this give me some help? Cheers

auto save what pictures?

from camera,
from phantom
etc?

do you know how to use a file manager and copy/paste?

copying stuff is easy
you just need to know where it is stored
and where you want it to end up.

If you want the full resolution, power everything up and go into the editor and you can download the original files from the aircraft's SD card to your Shield.
In the editor choose videos/photos from the top and then the top right icon lets you import from the SD card on the aircraft.

The drone saves stuff on the sd card in the drone, the tablet can be used to download and edit things, but would you not rather use a computer? If you do not have a computer, then as Ken says, use the edit and share features of the DJI GO app. I think when you go there before powering off the drone, it will download full res versions onto the tablet, or allow you to edit, and saving will make the full res....
