For those of you  who are considering buying. Just done a quck test over level ground flying at 250 feet.   Range without windsurfers before I started to lose signal was 4800 feet.  Same route flown with windsurfers. 7500 feet

Can you tell me which windsurfers you used ? I tried three kinds of windsurfers on my two P4's and one P3A and they DEcreased my range EVERY time with at least 30 %.

PhanFran, when using windsurfers, it's even more important to ensure you're pointing your remote controller properly. The remote controller should always be aimed toward your Phantom while you're flying (with the long side of the antennas pointing at your Phantom). If you're doing those things, you should be able to increase your range.
