I just saw on the DJI shop that there's a intelligent battary(high capacity) , does anyone know how much longer this battary last compared to the old one?

That depends on which camera model you are using.
If you are using an X3 camera, the OSMO's battery life will last for 96 min under ideal conditions.

So only about 6 min extra of battery life? The original battary could last up to 90 min after the update. And yes I am using the X3 camera

Normally , the original battery's life will last for 68 min under ideal conditions.
And it is related to the way you use it and the environment.

The osmo battery that has this little ribbon just teared apart after being used few times. It's very hard for me to get the battery out from the battery compartment...
What can I do now?

Hi, it's 980mAh vs. 1125mAh, the battery life is roughly proportional.

ha ha buy a new battery!, just kidding, maybe use a drop or two of super glue to stick the broken piece back onto the little bit that's still on the battery....maybe?
