I'm getting (seemly) radomly Creation Dates of Jan. 1 2014. Any one have any ideas what is causing this file creation dates. Its not consistent.

Wrong date is when you are shooting without phone conected. Osmo then don't know the date.

Filming with out iPhone connected  has become necessary due to the long connection time and waiting for video to show up. You miss way too much waiting for set up. This is a serious shortfall  for this decice. Thanks for the answer as too why wrong creation date.
