Hi there, I purchased my Osmo mobile today from an authorized retailer, charged it up and activated it as the videos and manual said to do. I've mounted my samsung galaxy S7 edge to it and it seemed balanced. If I touch the phone on the right side it goes back to level but when I touch the right side it goes back to level but not all the way. I've played around with the device mounting and found this to be the best set up. The problem begins when I auto calibrate the unit, it says it's calibrated and when I click okay, I get the device mounting error. The motors don't get hot or anything from what I can tell. I'm wondering if it's a mounting issue or my unit is defective. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Hi, yes I can control it with the joystick. I've also tried it more than 10 times re positioning the phone and also removing the case and trying the same with the iphone 6s. Error seems to pop up every time

When I try motion time lapse I keep getting:

Positioning Error

And the MTL stops before completion.

When you balanced the phone onto the gimbal, is the roll adjustment screw tight?

I just tested and when I get that error for motion time lapse the screw is tight. The mobile device error pops up and I can click okay and the phone is still recording while the error pops up and will even finish recording.

Hi, that is not normal.  What phone are you using? What's the operating system version?   Other than this, does your Osmo Mobile work fine?

Any luck people? It's been three days for me and I'm not getting the Device Positioning Error too. If I can't figure it out today I'm returning this.
