In new version of Dream Flights app, dedicated to flying DJI in VR glasses (1.4 in AppStore, Android is n/a yet) Augmented Reality objects were added to make navigation to POIs and Home point most easy than ever:

AR beacon at the Home point: In the video from the drone you will see an Augmented Reality (AR) object located on the Home point. This object will help you to visually determine the heading for your return, in addition to the arrow in the Director.

AR beacons at POIs : Prior to flight, you can mark the POIs you want to fly to on the map, in the Maps section of app. On the video from the drone you will see AR objects: – these are the beacons, located on the POIs. Using these, you will be able to easily visually navigate to the POIs during your flight.

No, it works INSTEAD of DJI Go with DJI Remote Controller

Dream Flight is a better / more interesting version of Litchi

I wonder if I can change size of AR object?

In comparison to Litchi and another App, what are the advantages of Dream Flights? DF is definitely more expensive...

Yes, the height of AR objects are various from 2 to 100 meters

You can choose the appearance of Home point beacon in Settings->screen - currently from 2 objects, going to add more in next versions

Well, I have both Apps on my phone. Litchi is great, but it is limited in FPV.
With Dream Flight you can do Pitch & Roll & Throttle  only by tilting and turning your body and your head in VR glasses. +They just added several new flying modes - glider flight simulation and "Fly-To Where-Look".
I think, it worth the money they ask for...

I think they only cover if using GO.

It works with any iPhones 5 and 6 and phones with Android 4.4.2 and above with 3 positioning sensors (acc, giro and magnetic) in spec. You need put the phone into the  sort of case with lenses named "VR glasses" or "VR Google cardboard"

...well, so far these objects are useless for me. Maybe, AR object help guys who don't follow arrow in the Director

Changing navigation from Director to AR beacons as per our mind are moving, in terms of "big aviation", from  IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) toward VFR (Visual Flight Rules). The second are much more easier.

ok, i downloaded free version -have to admit - really cool App.It is amazing when the drone can be controlled by tilting and turning of body and head.. But I am still thinking if i need App for $43
And, Yes, AR objects are very helpfull
