Will my Samsung Galaxy s5 work with the Mavic Pro controller?

I used a Samsung Galaxy S5 active yesterday.  The S5 active is too thick to fit in the holder, HOWEVER, the thing about the grips on the controller is that they're kind of "sticky" and so as long as your phone is somewhat clamped in on the sides it holds it just fine.  There's a lot more give to the way it clamps than it looks.

I can also confirm that the app etc. all worked just fine w/ the S5.  I noticed no lag issues or performance problems at all w/ the S5.  If you have the plain S5 I bet it fits just fine.

In this video I use my samsung note 3 w/ case in the controller. It held in place ok but the connector is pulling to reach. Maybe 1-2mm longer would been better.

Yes the Mini will fit into the clamps and it looks like he's holding it in with his palms.
I would still get an aftermarket holder for anything larger than a phone.
