Hi all

A few months ago, my P3 standard flew away. I contacted DJI support by email. They told me the flight data uploaded from my GO app showed "a perfect landing". I queried this and wondered how the flight record, which showed no landing or location, after the signal was lost, could show that. They replied after a few days and changed their tune. They asked me to fill in a .docx format RMA form with the information I had already sent them. After more delays and emails the best they offered was a 25% discount on a new aircraft. To get this I had to go through the whole rigmarole again downloading and returning a flight analysis form in .xls format.At this stage I gave up.



A few days ago, my Epson home cinema projector developed a minor fault.
It's two years old.
I phoned a number here in the UK, spoke to a very helpful lady who gave me a customer reference number and took details of the problem.
Today (a day later) an engineer rang to arrange a time to call. He's just left, leaving behind a replacement projector with a new bulb. I'm a happy bunny.



I WILL buy Epson products in the future.
I WON'T buy DJI products in the future.

I can see a big difference.
Your Epson was right there waiting for the man to look at.
Your Phantom is a mile or two over there in a tree or lake.
Tell Epson your projector is missing and see what warranty service you get.

Well that's one way of looking at it!
The other way is to say that both items malfunctioned, Epson sorted the problem, DJI didn't.
If DJI sold projectors, they would accuse me of not using the projector properly, playing the wrong sort of film on it, or using a third party remote control!

Ups delivered package to them 3 days ago and i just go email to say they not received can you BELIEVE who are this people that i am dealing with

Here's a happy ending story - DJI reopened the case, and after the usual email exchanges, decided to replace my flyaway P3S free of charge.
I received it yesterday. I had to send the remote and all the other stuff back to them first via UPS, they then sent the same stuff back plus a drone.
"The squeaky wheel gets the grease" as Sally in Peanuts would say.
