Is warranty voided? DJI can you answer this question?

I have a DJI Phantom 3 Standard. I purchased it about a month ago. I have not done any of the firmware updates even though it reminds me to do it. It fly's great with no problems and everything works, so why should I upgrade, especially reading all these upgrade horror stories. My question to DJI, does this void my warranty by not upgrading the firmware?

I think I saw somewhere that in itself no upgrading does not void warranty, but if you crash, and the crash is linked to a bug, and the bug was fixed, but you did not install the update.. well.... that's not really DJI's fault..
So, that is why DJI "recommends" to always upgrade to the latest and greatest.....  but it IS a recommendation....
Would be interested if anyone from DJI comments.

Hi Jake, the firmware update is not required and will not effect your aircraft's warranty.
And if you send in your aircraft, our engineers will evaluate it first to see if it's still under warranty.
