Not new to multirotors but new to DJI.  It looks like there is a lot to learn.  I have my preorder in and wondering if there is a manual I can start reading or at least a preliminary one?

Not yet, when it's available it will be online and in your app. From the homepage, slide over to Mavic then enter and the top right icon (graduation hat) will take you to the manual. There's already tutorial videos there.
