customer support just told me that they are having issues with android 7.0 this issue was 6-8-17

The first 10 core processor phone, the Leagoo T10, with a 5.7" inch screen and thin body works perfectly and was only $134.  I use it sole for flying with no phone service.

I love the idea of a dedicated phone or phablet for this - I don't want to use a tablet.   However, these cheap phones scare me a bit.   If Samsung can create exploding phones en masse, why shouldn't I be even more worried about these really cheap ones?

I just ordered a Huawai Mate 9 to try....but the price was killing me.

Well the Mate 9 is going back.   Lag is the same as my 3 year old Moto G and Galaxy TabPro tablet...  So much for 'high end'.

I am looking forwad to buy a Mavic but I am still unsure if it will work with my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy J5 running Android 5.1.1. Is the Mavic Compatibile with that phone by using the DJI GO 4 App?

With galaxy j5 2016 works horrible. I have it and this is masacre. Lagging 500 ms at least. Dont try to use mavic with it.

Dido,  Nothing but porblems with my LG V20.

Haven't used the wife's LG V20 extensively, but I haven't had any issues with the 10 or so flights where I've used her phone. I have since upgraded to the Note 8, and I have had no issues from the get go. The note 8 has worked flawlessly.

My Lenovo Tab3 8Plus works fine. 3Gb ram, octo processor, WiFi and 3G/4G.
Just squeezes snugly into the controller arms. Less than $200 US.

I got my one from Gearbest - they are slow to ship though.

Im using a samsung galaxy s5 and it works great. Never crashes, little lag. I never upgraded the software on the phone, maybe thats good.
Im now thinking of looking at a s2 tablet.

If only I could use the tablet for something else I could justify spending the money on an ipad.

Just bought a lovely all white Mavic Pro combo but cant download the DJI GO 4 app on my Samsung J5 android phone just not compatible and reading through this thread it looks like the android is a little touch and go, so my Question is, would it be worth buying an apple iphone 6 unlocked and can I use the iphone with the Mavic Pro without the phone actually connected to a network like 02, vodaphone or EE  ie just use the wifi/bluetooth on the phone or doesnt it work like that I'm not a techno   

just got my first drone a mavic pro platinum and niether my phone or ipad will run it. Any suggestions

Would you be able to use the iPod touch with the A8 chip???

Can’t see why you wouldn’t, no different to an iPad with similar chip although ram maybe the issue.

Can a s10+ samsung be compatible to the app and the smart controller

My AT&T Galaxy Note 10 works flawlessly.
