Has "peaking" been dropped from the latest DJI Go software?
Yesterday, I was able to click on the little green box, it would beep and focus on a distant object, and I'd get red peaking outlines around distant objects indicating perfect focus. Now this tool seems to have disappeared!

I still have peaking in the 3.0.0 DJI Go app. It's still listed under general settings. Are you sure you have it turned on still?
