Yeah he's certainly managed to get one in there for sure. My guess is it won't stay in well enough. I was surprised a bit that DJI didn't make the remote control mounts able to  hold an iPad mini size. After all I have a mini 4 that's pretty much just for my P3Pro. I guess they are super focused on portability but having opted for the smaller iPhone 7 this will be a huge drop in screen size for me

Would be interesting to see how stable that is. His hands do look quite awkward though and it looks like he's having to keep pressure on the arms to stop it falling out. Must be pretty easy for someone to make a clamp that clamps in like a phone and then holds an ipad on top.

That's a decent first attempt by someone to be fair. I wonder if he flipped it round and the iPad mini dropped down instead of up would it be better so you can see the screen on the remote

Do you get all the same telemetry on the go app as is shown on the remote. If so its not even necessary to see it.

Yep, I'm pretty sure you do but the remote is very bright and easy to see over an iPad screen. Might be nice to have flight data on one and camera data and controls on the other

16GB EMMC, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), 802.11abgn, 2MP Front & 5MP Rear, Bluetooth 4.0
8.2 x 4.8 x 0.3 inches should fete the  folding arms on Mavic controler.
