Inspire 1 Pro - upgrade to v1.9 firmware fail

OK, about 10 minutes into the updgrade it failed. The solid red light and constant beep kicked in. The txt file on the SD said:

Packet: WM610_FC550_FW_V01.09.01.30.bin
Result: Failed.
Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.


Tried again, many times. Formatted the SD card in the inspire, downloaded new file, even tried the whole process using different computers. Same result. Inspire starts up, tries to initiate the firmware update from the bin file, then after about 30 seconds goes into fail mode.

Not sure what else I can do - is this fixable DJI or is the X5 now bricked?

Looks like you bricked the Video transmission module ( corrupts the system ) , lines 0800 and 1500 are "Device not detected" this is bad.  I would just  get an RMA number and send it in.
You were using the Pro firmware for the Update correct ?  The data looks like it , just want to double check with you .  
What were y0ou jumping up from ?  do you know ?   did you go from 1.4 to 1.8 and then have the trouble from 1.8 to 1.9 ?  

Sorry to tell you this .

Was the RC transmitter on when you were updating the Aircraft ?

Hi Donnie, I was going from 1.8 to 1.9. May have had the remote on while updating, can't quite remember - been a long afternoon !

That will do it . If the file is just corrupted, ( and if you left the RC when updating the AC  on  it more than likely is ) then it is  a very simple fix.   The sooner you get things rolling with DJI, the faster you can get it back .  I would advise DJI that you know the codes and ask if yocan just sent the Camera in .  Tell them the codes and " Device Not Detected " and they may allow that .

Yea sorry thats a bad one, Open a ticket with DJI as it will need to go in for repair, the 08/15 missing is a known thing that seems to happen randomly.
