Is anybody try to know which is the best speed to get the better ratio distance/battery drain ?
It should be useful to know that to get the longest playtime on an area.

The short answer is that you'll get the most distance at just a tad below max speed.

A moderate speed would suffice. Flying too aggressively will definitely cause the battery to drain quickly.

fly, then check your amps on healthydrones... right between going from gtreen amps to yellow amps is the best.. but since go app does not show u amps, it is hard to then figure out in the log what you were doing at that point.. also, if one attempted to base it off the speed, that does not work as DJI reports ground speed based on gps... so it certainly is not a simple matter to be consistent on saving max power while flying the most efficient distance...  if dji had an ability to report airspeed, than you could do that....

Whatever is most manual, would be best as you fly the drone, and it will not compensate for wind and such.... I think...

Not sure about phantom drones, it's 25km/p for Mavic, assume it's windless.

What is 25 km/h for the Mavic?

Recent testing by a member on another forum showed clearly that the Phantom gets maximum distance at 13-14 m/sec which is just below top speed.

So what is it for phantom 3 and phantom 4? But then again, add wind to it, and what the actual speed is is a guess based only on maybe your right stick not being "all the way forward".. not really a guarantee..... unless there's actually no wind.. which I think is rare....

You would get maximum distance at between 13 & 14 m/sec in still air.
Longest flight time is not the same as maximum distance.

true, not obvious - even while i think about it.. but yes, you could go the furthest, in less time as opposed be the longest in the air, but actually not get as far...   would be nbce to get some airspeed indicator on the device.. but then again, that is NOT what DJI built their drones for.. they built it as imaging platform.. not even really for the joy of flight itself...
