I cant find anywhere on the interweb that tells me which format to use.
My FILMORA editing suite opens both types of files.
I'm filming in 1080 60fps, and not bouncing down at all.
Any preferences out there?
Any reasons?

MOV or MP4 makes no difference at all to picture quality, same with PAL or NTSC.
Use whatever you like.

Just to add to that, traditionally Apple devices prefer .MOV and PCs prefer .MP4, but either way all they are is a container holding MPEG files.

Please note that if you're in Australia, PAL is the most common broadcast format.

It is not an issue. PAL is only relevant to SD (Standard Definition) broadcasts, whereas none of the Phantoms can record in SD, only HD and higher. PAL is now an outmoded concept now that Australia has switched over to full digital television broadcast.

Thanks for all of that.  I'm in Australia.
I've been using mov NTSC on a laptop windows 10. Cheap but good enough software for my  purposes. FILMORA editing suite.

The footage quality is exellent. Especially yesterday's when i backed into a treetop at full speed about 20 metres up.lol . Leaves sky ground sky ground sky  ground  sky ground sky ground blank...
Still works. Completely  unscathed! !!!!

That'll teach me huh?
