Are you taking into account for the wind that the Inspire is flying in? Because a tailwind will show a much faster airspeed as it is flying in a wind that is going 15 mph already. (Example: 15 mph wind, 20 mph Inspire = 35 mph ground speed with the wind). And flying into that same wind does the opposite. (15 mph wind, 20 mph inspire into that wind + 5 mph ground speed) and all the GPS sees is how fast the Inspire is traveling across the ground. Not the air or the speed of that wind. |
