Just wondering will Mavic Combo pack ship at the same time as Mavic, I know from experience with the likes of Osmo Combo packs they shipped later than the basic Osmo. Pack.

I bet that orders won't ship till at least mid November, DJI started preorders early just so people wouldn't order the gopro karma. Just to steal go pros thunder, if you will.

DJi didn't start preorders early because of the Karma announcement. Sept 27th was always the announcement date from long ago.

Online sales would know more, but from past experience, the Mavic may ship first and extra batteries later.But I honestly have no idea, and just guessing.

Yep, my P3 combo shipped the batteries 10 days after I received the bird.

You can always buy extra batteries on NOV 2nd at any Apple Store.

When Apple receives their Mavics, they should also have some extra batteries but probably will sell out quickly.

LOL forget about the combo, it doesn't worth it.
Just go for the drone alone and 2 extra batteries

p.s. Apple store was kind enough to misprice the batteries a week ago and saved me ~10US$@ LMAO

It may not work for you,but it does for me Mavic so portable car charger going to be very important also now you have 3 batteries multi charger would come in handy also gadget for charging your phone from Mavic battery is very handy and I will need something safe to carry it in, so with the €300 I save by buying what I would in the future suits me.

The gopro karma was also announce long ago, that was there mistake. There's no need to announce a product 1 year before it goes on sale, that gives competitors plenty of time to develope similar products to compete. Example yuneec breeze and the mavic pro.

car charger might be essential for some of the users, agreed.
cell phone charger is a joke though, not gonna waste any juice and preserve that for the drone.

The bag...doesn't look like a sturdy protection for the drone

You will land all your batteries at min 20% this would be enough to fully charge your typical iPhone 6 and remember your Mavic will eat the juice on your phone, so while you rubbish this what will you use that leftover power for,

5350mAh battery from P4 uses less than 20% to charge my phone iPhone 6 , you seem to know everything already, so enough said, each to his own

You can't just go by the mAh rating, there's "extra" capacity since the USB adapter is bucking down an 11.1v battery to 5v.

Just call me Nostradamus. I've got just one more prediction before I sign off for good, I predict after a few more years, healthy competition will force DJI to the back of the bunch of companies selling drones.
