So I went to the DJI Store and it says that the battery will ship 25 to 27 days after payment verified.

I scooted over to Drone World and some other sites and they say late Nov for the batteries.

Am I to read this that the batteries ordered straight from DJI will ship at the end of Oct or are they waiting to verify payment until later this month?

Nobody really knows.  DJI will be manufacturing & shipping batteries for drone kits first.  Extra batteries will ship when they get around to it...

Andy third party stores like Drone World are just estimating.  Nobody really knows.

it was like this for the P3/P4, extra batteries ordered may come at a later date.
When I ordered my P3 Pro long ago with an extra battery, the aircraft was shipped first and about a month later the extra battery came.

Well, I went ahead and ordered an extra battery on the DJI store.   My payment was processed.   It states on the store that it will ship approximately 25 days after payment is processed.

Did not realize you are an authorized re-seller. Contgrats. And, good luck getting 160... Maybe someone wants one bad enough that they will not mind being gouged for double the retail price for a battery with absolutely no warranty. Get while the gettin's good, I guess.

I've been watching the Mavic's sell on Ebay, one this morning went for $2,050!!

Supply and demand, people with plenty of money who don't want to wait can get what they want now.

Don't fault the opportunist, I'd sell that battery for $300 if I believed I could part a fool with his money.

It's more about posting it in here, but I still hate price gougers

I actually ordered the fly more pack with 1 additional battery... I am soooo screwed on getting it any time this year. I placed the order September 29th in the early afternoon from Amazon.

Sold both batteries for $500 and i will keep the last so I am still able to fly. its called supply and demand dont be mad at me if you dont have as many batteries as you would like.

There was a bid but you can notice how early the auction was ended because i sold the item outside of ebay for alot more money.
