It sounds like people get wildly different estimations. You would think they would just have a prepared statement and give the same information to everyone.

When I order it did not say november so meaning those who order now expect waiting for shipment till november, Damn this is like when apple comes up with a new design of a new computer or phone everyone has a long waiting period heheheheheheheh I am glad i got it ahead of time on oct 1st, I am probably on the first wave of production on the mavic so basically if there is a bad batch that comes from production we will be the first one to know....

Ha my email said the exact same thing from the same exact person. It is showing out of stock now as of 1120am EST oct 14th. I doubt the 18th will be the shipping time.

It would be very helpful to others if people posting a shipping date (confirmation email date) to this thread, would also post their order number. That way others can compare it to their order number and get some idea where they are on the shipping list. .... Thanks

Order numbers are not in sequential order. the first three numbers are your country area code. People that ordered 5 minutes apart on the first day could have an order number millions apart. I wish it wasn't this way so we could have an idea but I think it is just a waiting game.

Never been excited before to know that NOW it is the 15th in China.

That's no issue, just only compare your order number with other orders with your same country code.

Just chatted online, shipped in november for an order on 3rd of october... even if the date shown on web site was october...
pretty bad communication!

Placed order on Sept 28th. Received this email which indicates they will not be shipping my combo order until early November. I had hoped to be in the first batch, but it appears that may not be the case.

Please set assured that your order#xxxxxxxx is under-processing now and the current status is wait pick.
We had planned that it is estimated that shipping for Mavic pre-orders begins from mid-October on first come first served basis.
As matters stand, the earliest shipment we can make is early November according to your payment sequence. And the shipping estimation is subject to change.

I ordered mine from Best Buy, they said that I will have it by oct 31. Is this info correct?

Did anybody ever think about the possibility  that the first come first served policy may only be restricted to the respective country the order was placed and will be shipped to!?

I would therefore suggest you add your  country of your shipping address....

Nothing will be ship out today.  You look the earliest coming Monday, also probably take 7-10days if ship to U.K.

it hasnt changed, and I highly doubt it will. Jared on emails said it would be between the 15th and 18th for mine to be shipped being one of the first to order direct.

Status still Pending for postage in UK, i did spean on Friday morning to UK biggest importer of DJI (friend of a friend) and was told he will get them on monday, not sure how much this is true but will find out soon and he told me that i can get one off him if any spare left as he has no idea how many he is getting of his original order.

I have been very antsy to get my mavic but now that I picked up a cheap sky viper drone I'm actually glad I have alittle time to learn how to fly lol
