I am looking to get an iphone 7 plus, I am wondering wether this will work OK with the drone.

I know to turn off wi fi.

Will it work with iphone 7 plus 256gb model

I expect it would work , BUT (playing devils advocate here ) it is not on the DJI approved list.

I have used the 7 plus and it works fine.

If you can swing a iPad mini 4 16 GB. Much better viewing. JMHO. I have a 6 plus...

I have a Samsung Tab 2 9.7 Inch too and mostly use that for the the drone.

I want to try an Apple Product with the drone, and in  general use.

You should be fine using the Go app with that device, it has plenty of processing power to run it. Happy flying!

I have also ordered an iPad Pro 12.9", that should give me a large enough screen

Just a heads up the 12.9" iPad Pro won't fit in the holder. If you get the 9.7" iPad Pro that will fit from my understanding. I have the iPad Pro 12.9" and usually just sit it on table with Apple keyboard and all is fine.
