I've just purchased my OSMO mobile. Took me a while to get started but decided to post my experiences on the forum so that newbies can get started quickly.

1. Remove the phone cover - I didn't remove it but later on when removing the cover the set up seems to work better
2. Calibration is important - follow the steps. Some steps aren't very clear but you'll get the hang of it.
3. Pull the trigger to allow the gimball to function! Of course it does need to and silly me, i didn't pull the trigger on the handle for it to function properly
4. Activetrack! I nearly went bonkers trying to figure out how! Your phone must not have the rotate-lock switched on! Switch off the rotate-lock thing on your phone (on the iPhone it is that little button opposite the volume control).
