Hi guys,

I've just received my Osmo Mobile and I love it... however the DJI GO App has a number of bugs that need to be sorted asap. I'd like to create and mantain this list of bugs with the hope that DJI will look into it.

I will split the list in iOS and Android. Please state ur device when posting.

iOS - iPhone 7
- Video resolution setting defaults back to 720p for no apparent reason
- OIS seams to mess up with the Osmo, videos are not as stable as on the iPhone6 and below
- Video in 4k is not very smooth. Video recorded with FilMic PRO is way way better.
- Normally photo on iPhone 7 are 4032×3024. The resolution of a 180 degrees pano or the 9 photo composition, is below even to the one of a single shot. For example a 180 pano is usually around 4230×760 and a 9 photos composition is usually ~2700x1300.

The main and most important. The stabilizer is bad, it does not work properly with the best phone on the market today iPhone. (Personal opinion)

I regret having to repeat information already given but it is important to know poorly designed items

Guys, this is meant to be a constructive thread to give feedback to DJI. Please stick to that and do not start OT arguments...

Hi, did you actually try iPhone 7 and iPhone 6 and find the former has a less stabilizer video on Osmo? Thank you.

Hi, did  ...

Yep, I'm an iOS developer and basically have all iPhones from 4s. I tested it with my iPhone 7 and wasn't happy with stabilisation and quality of the video. Tried with the 6s and it looks better. I can put up a video comparison somewhere if it helps.

Sorry about it, more gentle walking is required for iPhone 6sp, 7 and 7p to shoot videos. Since you a developer, you should know that Apple offers the API to turn off OIS and DJI Go developers already turned them off in the code(no reason not to do so).

Yep... here's the API: preferredVideoStabilizationMode

Is this set to off? Really? So... it should behave exactly as an iPhone 6s (which doesn't have OIS at all). And instead it looks worse on devices that have it. Must be something in the software... considering that also 4K video look a lot smoother when shot with FilMic PRO.

I've also added a new bug to the list: normally photo on iPhone 7 are 4032×3024. The resolution of a 180degree pano or the 9 photo composition, is below even to the one of a single shot.

Hi, the 4K lagging is a known issue that should have been solved with the new DJI Go app update.

The pano photo resolution issue is not a bug, it's because of the limited capability of the phone in stitching up photos, so we have to limit the resolutions. We'll improve our algorithm to make it faster.
