I have just receive my drone today, however after sending in for warranty claim from DJI, i receive back the same drone and they have repaired the smoke coming out from the gimbal. However, there are a few things to highlight,
After successful pairing with the RC, 1.) there are no image shown on the ipad, it states " no image transmission signal" 2.) in the aircraft status it says gimbal disconnected 3.) when i off the drone, it takes much longer to shut down comparing to before "after pressing the battery off button twice, it takes another 10second for the drone to off completely" 4.) there are obvious dents on the VPS sensor steel frame 5.) there are obvious dents on the VPS plastic frame 6.) the serial number sticker on the drone shows like it have been removed and then re-stick back to the drone.
I suppose, DJI have not fixed the drone completely and sent it back to me. It is costly for me to ship the drone to Hong Kong, and whats more i have missed the date in receiving the drone to do my video shooting. Thus can DJI please arrange to collect the drone for repair again. Please repair it thoroughly this time. My previous drone was perfect and all you need was to change the shell, but you gave me a repaired refurbished drone, and the gimbal smoked after 2 flights. Am greatly disappointed in this.
