That sounds good, I ordered 29th, so won't expect it until second batch if dji are operating same dates for their customers, would be great if I get it then as I'm going on a trip to Budapest, until then I'll still be enjoying my P4 which is a great aircraft..

Seems to be blocking non DE accounts. Using my company VPN and I can access fine.

....not that they will have stock any sooner than anyone else anyway.

10-15 days delivery time, so no, no stock or soon stock. Interesting that they use geoblocking.

Ive ordered mine on 11th of Oct morning GMT time does that mean im in a second batch ? As thought some pre sales said its 11th 18:00 Beijing time for first batch some say 12th Oct and some say im in November batch can some ine clarify that?

LOL all getting a little heated on here... I'd be a little annoyed if someone took my money and didn't tell me when i could see it again! But then in the UK we have lovely dealers who only take a small deposit then let you pay later when you actually have a shipment. Sounds like the basic problem here is some crazy guy in stage mentioning the 15th .... tut tut...

Even I also called Jessops, and I got a reply that I might get my order somewhere around mid Nov, provided they have the stocks comming in on time. My order was placed on 9th Oct

8 left of the 100 preorder. reseller says shipping still says arriving to him on the 27th but he heard it might be a couple of days earlier

No I don't work for anyone in this industry am just a home hobby flyer.

Just had a chat with Apple UK via live chat. They are quoting "November" for the Mavic. I asked if they could give me a date... "I can definitely help you with that today!"... 2 minutes later... "It will definitely be November"... that's it. Nothing specific.

Moral of the story? I wanted to cancel my direct order with DJI because of the silly message from their Global Director of Communications (anyone else see the irony in the job title?) BUT "cutting you nose to spite your face" springs to mind. I just look forward to a little more openness about the delay.

I would also thank Ken and Ed for fronting this out on behalf of DJI in what is a fairly hostile environment. They obviously have to toe the company line and probably don't know any more than they are saying. Guys, apologies if any of my comments were rude... hopefully they've remained above-board... just!

Ordered mine from SkyBoss Drones on Oct.13. Just got an email today (10/19) that they got word from DJI that they are shipping 2nd or 3rd week in November. Anxious, but happy that I am being communicated with. Thank you SkyBoss.

Just had a talk with Amazon, I ordered from them directly.

Alright Chris so checking on the order i'm seeing that the item will be sent to the Amazon fulfillment center on November 15, 2016 then after which it will be shipped to the customer's
So you'll see it being shipped out to you on the November 16, 2016

If you are going to get the Mavic, I would suggest keeping your pre-order, and if whatever store you can get it from if they have it available to you first then order and cancel the DJI order.
I still think the people who pre0ordered will get theirs first.
It would be a shame to cancel then you start seeing all the preorders going out and you have to wait even longer until the stores have it and ready for you.
And thank you for the kind words, it's really so much appreciated.

This is my first dji drone and I'm really excited about the mavic so I'm holding on for my delivery. If it takes a month then I will just have to wait, I ordered from apple uk and they don't take any money until they ship not that it's a problem if they did. When everyone gets their mavics the airspace is going to be full and YouTube will be bursting with mavic pro videos. Good luck everyone just sit tight you all know it will be worth it in the end its far superior to anything else on the market.

Guess we'll miss the fall colors..

Hey DJI-Ken, I think the issue is that people are keen to know on what date the first batch of pre-orders runs too as some of the resellers may have stock before pre-orders are fulfilled in subsequent batches.

Guys, the fact is nothing has shipped as of yet, otherwise you would at least see a few members stating it here, along with youtube unboxing videos. Ken and Ed can only tell you what they know, so please give them a break. I'm sure corporate is fully aware things are getting heated and only gets worst by the day. If there are no communication up to this point, something is definitely causing the delay and dji is unable to comment. You have 2 options at this point. To relax and accept the delayed shipment or cancelling your order. Indeed this S%#$ sucks, but lets get real here... Its a damn drone, no one is going to die not having one.

Just think of all the interest DJI is getting with our money sat in their bank account. Hopefully it will fund some research and development into some new product launch technology that will allow them to ship products when they say they will.

Keep up the good work Ken.

It's only the 19th. I've still got hope that pre-orders will start shipping before the month-end. Yes, dealer orders are delayed until Nov, we know that, but a few people have posted after speaking to chat in the last day or so that suggesting that direct DJI pre-order shipping may start very late Oct. If not, no biggie.

Also I'd like to join the other commenters regarding the DJI staff on the forum. You've been impressively calm over the last few days!
