Started off with this F450 Build and tried to improve on it.  
Two things I didn't like about the original build:

* Gimbal was mounted at the front which made it hard to get balanced on its X and Y axes.
* Was over the weight limit of the E305 props by about 6 oz.

So reconfigured the F450 and came up with this...

That's pretty neat concept instead of going with retracts. I'm guessing you're not having issues landing it back on the legs consistently?

I have two stands:



The one on the left is for when I'm working on the F450, the stand on the right is for takeoff and landing.

After a few hard landings though, I started using this velcro strap to catch the F450 in the air, then place it onto the stand.



I don't recommend doing this though unless you're really comfortable with this type of thing as you could get hurt.
