DJI,

After checking out so many videos on the internet on mavic I'm wondering if DJI has omitted the extendable stick which always give me smooth and excellent panning outcome. If the sticks aren't extendable, is there a way we could buy one as an accessory? Either an extendable or a longer stick? With the current short sticks I believe it would be pretty hard to have a smooth pan.

You have tripod mode now.. ha ha.

A longer stick gives more control over the yaw speed. So the drones can be turned very slowly while flying.

The sticks are removable, which will allow replacement with longer ones or adding in an extension. Not sure if they are push fit or screw in though

When I first saw that the plastic sticks were removable, I immediately imagined someone making an extendable aluminum version as an upgrade.

Just to update this topic, the production sticks are NOT REMOVABLE.

This might not stop us from extending them, but it'll certainly change how we do it.

My sticks are removable. And this remote does yaw good even without extending. Got me worried for awhile but after using it, I'm totally good with it.
