In light of DJIs recent stance on gimbal guard protectors, not honoring warranty claims if one was installed, does anyone have technical details of the VPS Sensors?

Is the signal transmitted conical, is it flat, does it pulse or is it constant?

Not being an electronics engineer; is there any electronic equipment that would allow you to determine or "see" it's pattern?

I don't agree with DJI that ALL gimbal guards are not approved, and may result in warranty denial.  I mean, that gimbal and camera really needs more protection.

Any techies out there that can shed some light on this?

Gimbal protection is a myth, nothing is going to provide effective protection in the majority of cases. And you can disagree with DJI all you want, it is their call and that's the end of it. And with regard to what it consists of, VPS is combination of ultrasonics and vision technology.
