He sure has some interesting things to say about profile settings and the(to) high compression....
I personally would like to have a setting for compression ratio within the App., quality of recorded file is more important than the size to me.

That's what you get from a videographer in the biz.

He's not so impressed with the camera / footage....  maybe the one thing I'd want DJI to do a good job with... good footage.  Still early days.

I actually hadn't considered how low 60mbps is at 4k. It would equate to 15mbps at 1080p, but I suppose it's less noticeable due to the increased res.

60Mbps is more than acceptable...  GoPro Hero 5 is also shooting at 60Mbps.  Netflix compresses 4K to 15.6Mbps.

I like Bloom, but there were a few things he said that made absolutely no sense.

It does Atti, but not manually...  From the manual:

"The aircraft will automatically switch to ATTI mode when the GPS signal is weak and lighting conditions
are too dark for the Forward and Downward Vision System. The aircraft will only use its barometer for
positioning to control the altitude."

It's a Sony A7R II with a Zeiss Batis Prime. About $5k total for both items, plus the shotgun and media.

... and it looks the way it does because of the grade, not the camera.

At around 9:00, he demonstrates that it has a vertical video (portrait) mode. That will be handy for recording world star hip hop videos.

You went a little overboard with this and read WAY more into what I posted than I had anticipated.  This is very obviously NOT made to be used on a Hollywood set, unless it's a prop...  For what it is, 60Mbps is absolutely acceptable, and I brought up the GoPro as a product at a comparable level.

I agree we need to have a way to switch to ATTI mode  to recover in some circumstances

Anyone else notice that the gimbal bubble protector with his "production version" was frosted? I guess they've decided not to let us have it on at all during flight.

I had a little issue with the video quality. I noticed in this sample and a few other posted sample the video is not always really smooth. I see artifacts and digital motion blur.  Is this from the camera footage or online video compression?

He's right about CINELIKE. It's the best way to go since we've got a max of 60Mbps @ 4k. LOG tries to cram too much dynamic range into a tiny package. LOG is great at higher bitrates, but your final product might show artifacts @ 100Mbps (like on GH4) even.

Best picture looks like 1080p60 as this provides the full 60Mbps - good ratio. Regarding 4k, there is a noticeable difference in it & other resolutions on a nice 4k set.  It is clearly evident with vegetation.

4k & 1080p60 = 60Mbps
2.7k = 45Mbps
1080p30=40Mbps

A firmware update to 100Mbps @ 4k would be welcome.

Good review but his music is so sad and depressing.

I updated those bitrates per DJI GO Mavic Flight Tutorial.  According to that new info, everything except 4k got a bump in bitrate.

That's pretty damn awesome!!
