So while the DJI Mavic Pro will be my first real Drone (i've used lots of RC Helicopters), let's talk about your Phone/General Settings/Setups like:

Do you turn  Airplane Mode on while flying, for less interference?

Do you use anything else besides the DJI Go App?

Range Extenders, Parabolic/Active? (Since i'm in Europe, CE Compliant will be automatically choosen for me and which is 20dBm/100mW - and if my Mavic won't reach at least 5KM, i will get on of those 1,200mW Extenders ArgTek/ITE. (Yeah the EU makes everything worse for themselvs, they try to limit things people get around it and it gets even worse for the EU :p)

A mate of mine is using some kind of 'Hack?' to get past the 500m limit on his P4 (he is really Crazy, but he contacts our local ATC for Clearance) do any of you use this?

Do you use any kind of PropGuards and other 'FailSafe' stuff?

And everything else you have in mind, it'll be very interesting to hear and keep our minds somewhat distant from the shipping issues and let DJI do their work
