marked as shipped but actual shipping is tomorrow. to me it's a little bit brighter but still looks like a PR move. don't get me wrong ! having information and an ETA makes the situation better that what it was yesterday... but i'll be completly reassured once a get that friggin' tracking number

I will be very curious to see just  how deep into the ordering queue these updates go - DJI is well aware today was the day that many said they were going to cancel, so have they "shipped" a (relative) handful to cut off those cancellations or are they really into shipping mode.  

You will notice I Quoted shipped since the order update clearly states - will be shipped tomorrow so in fact they haven't really shipped yet at all, just promised to ship tomorrow.

Probably just means they have been printing shipping labels and preparing packages.

There is a pretty serious typhoon in the area at the moment so it's unlikely that any air freight would be able to go out anyway.

was thinking just that. was anticipating a mass cancellation if no update were given today. those who got shipped notice, dont have tracking as of yet so we'll see.

Wow!  Thank you DJI for the update!  Went to the Mavic pre buy page and this is on there!  You know there are 2 sides of a product.  The hardware itself, and then the customer service and the integrity of the company.  During hardship or stressful times it's when the true colors show.  DJI you have crashed and burned on this one.  How about all those people you sent Mavics to that you needed their reviews on Youtube to push the product, how about now post reviews of the screwed up customer service that's going on right now and still no product!   Where are those guys right now?  Oh yeah they have their Mavics.  How about Casey post a nice ole video about how miss leading DJI has been with its paying customers.  This is a Joke.  Transparency would have helped tons, now the damage is done as you all hide in your holes with all the pre paid customers money.  A straight forward reasoning for all of this is way over due!  I am a first time buyer of DJI and i sure am learning and seeing the true character of this company when the cards are on the table.  Next is canceling my 2 orders, but what do they care, they still haven't posted an update of specifics.

Not sure if this is legit or not?  About as legit as "Shipping October 15th" that they showed at the launch.  Damage done DJI.  Tell me why we would believe much now.  Guess when it shows on our doorsteps we will believe.  Till then, you guys had your chance.  DJI knew there were going to be issues on the 15th shipping date before the 15th.  The 15th didn't just show up and they were scrambling!  They should have focused on being straight up with us all!  It would have served you well if when you knew things were not shaping up for the 15th to release a notice to us all.  Be proactive folks!   A detailed release and a game plan of what to expect then stick to that.  Guess we all sit and wait or cancel.  Another funny thing about this update, is there is still no update onto why it did not ship on the 15th!!!!!  I know forsure that DJI has not listened to what we the customer need, and that is straight forward reasoning for the delay.  This will hurt you.  Karma may not be all that of a mavic, but go pro now has its foot in the water.  It will take some time, but go pro will catch up and become very competitive, and it might eventually come down to customer service, and when it does, you will lose.  Go pro is just getting started and wow DJI you gave customers a open book to read on your customer service.  How many customers did you lose to go pro simply by your lack of transparency.  You might not think very many, but it wont take long for go pro to capitalize on this and continue to catch up.  This is the first drone of many i am sure from go pro.

Hey look a real update!  Victory.

Glad people are getting closer to their drones.

Do you guys think this shipping is also for retailers and third party sellers like Jessops and Amazon and such?  Or do we think it's just for those very extremely pre-orders?
I think using this thread for speculation and sharing when our drones ship is a great idea, and using it to harrass Ken and Ed for information they do not have is dumb.

From the looks of it, the combos aren't shipping yet. This looks to backup the reason for the delay being batteries. If this is the case, they could of said "A supply issue out of DJI's control" and everyone would of been ok with that reason versus to many people ordered it so we aren't shipping any.

Can anyone report that a Combo has shipped?
